2010-2011 AMS/NWA-Memphis Scholarship

The Memphis Chapter of the AMS/NWA is pleased to offer a $500 scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year to a deserving high school senior or current college student who will be actively pursuing a degree in atmospheric sciences or meteorology during the upcoming school year. The application period for 2010 has passed. Please check back in 2011!

Basic eligibility guidelines include that the applicant must reside in the area served by the Memphis Chapter (roughly a 100-mile radius around the city of Memphis), should be pursuing post-secondary education towards a degree in meteorology and/or atmospheric sciences in the 2010-2011 school year, and will be taking multiple classes towards that degree in the upcoming academic year.
